Eugene Chadbourne John Zorn 1977 1981













John Zorn is an American avant-garde composer, arranger, record producer, saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist. Zorn's recorded output is prolific with hundreds of album credits as a performer, composer, or producer. His work has touched on a wide range of musical genres, often within a single composition, but he is best-known for his avant-garde, jazz, improvised and contemporary classical music.
Eugene Chadbourne is an American improvisor, guitarist and banjoist. Highly eclectic and unconventional, Chadbourne's most formative influence is free jazz.This CD includes unreleased and remixed tracks by John Zorn and Eugene Chadbourne and features some of his earliest recordings - most of which are unavailable anywhere else.

have long been into both these guys - never realized they'd ever collaborated, cannot imagine what it'll sound like when i play it!

Zorn and Chadbourne worked together a lot around the time covered in his box-set the "Parachute Years". So if you like this look at the early gamepieces contained in that set. I recently saw them play together at Zorn's club "The Stone". Thank you for posting some of their other early work.
